I had the opportunity to test out the principle of hyper-effectiveness this week as I traveled to Las Vegas for a tradeshow. A key principle of LifeSpace is to live a balanced and successful life. But it is important to decide that living a balanced life is not about averaging out your expectations but actually living at a very high level in all areas. Just like many of you, I have multiple goals across multiple areas and I manage them all in LifeSpace. Whether training for my next marathon, getting into shape for summer, having fun with my family and friends, traveling to amazing destinations or building my career, I manage it all in LifeSpace.
While at a business tradeshow, I decided practice the tips from the 10 Great Ways to Stay Healthy While Traveling and was very happy to discover that these tips worked out for me. I was able to do my training runs, eat well all week and spend time great friends, all while taking care of the business commitments.
This act of combining multiple goals across multiple areas of life into single, comprehensive activities is known in LifeSpace as hyper-effectiveness. So what do you think? What activities could take on that would combine multiple goals from multiple areas of life? How about combining fitness with travel, or family with contribution, or finance with fitness. The combinations are endless, so go ahead and get creative and learn to blend your goals to become hyper-effective in your own life.
